As you make your way along the transition path, you are welcome to jump in by sending messages to the group. You may have a question, seek clarification, want to share a new resource, etc. You are encouraged to share. Members will support you. There are a wide range of views, methods and speeds of “being in transition”. We are a diverse group.

Permaculture is a deep system based resource for transitioning systems that is valued. Please review the resources at the Austin Permaculture Guild: <a href="http://www.austinperm.com">http://www.austinperm.com</a> and consider joining the egroup at: <a href="http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/austinperm">http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/austinperm</a>/ (come right back please). You may want to start out with the daily digest that is easier to skim. Often comments play into transition.

Second Thursdays the Hub meets. See Hub meeting information on the home page.Hub business is primarily conducted from 7 to 7:30 PM at those meetings. At 7:30 we start the Community conversation and members enjoy a relaxed round table discussion about whatever you want to bring up. The hub meetings end by 9 PM.
Fourth Thursday Transition Pot Luck is designed to provide a social event to transitioners, permaculturists and the public. Get to know transitioners.You can read of meetings scheduled at transitionaustin.org on the right side of the home page, except November and December.

Local: Austin Permaculture Guild is currently accepting registrations for two Permaculture Design Certificate courses. One runs for 10 Saturdays starting January 28, 2012; the other is a 14-day course that runs from April 21 through May 4, 2012. Both courses are Permaculture Design Certificate courses and both present the same internationally recognized 72-hour curriculum — just in different formats.www.austinperm.com/
